Internet Access Third Wave is a full-service Internet access provider. Whether you are new to the Internet or an old pro, we think you'll find we offer something more than most:

Better value - Unlimited access for as little as $10 per month!
Better service - If you want us to, we'll even come out to your house and setup all your software and give you a few pointers. This service is free with a two month subscription. If you are signed up with someone else, we'll even help out with that! The charge in this case is $25 per hour (one hour should be plenty in most cases).
Hassle Free - You can use any standard software you want with our service. No need to run special software like AOL and others require, which as you may know, can cause all sorts of compatibility problems. We also support alternative operating systems like Linux, BeOS and MacOS. In fact, you don't even really need a computer to get access here! A dumb old ASCII terminal will work (within limits of course). If someone has told you your computer is just too old or non-standard to work with the Internet, give us a call!
Free Web Page - You get space to put up your very own web page with any Intenet access account at no additional charge. No restrictions on content, but we do reserve certain rights. See the rules pages. If you need high bandwidth (up to DS3) or more space, we have very reasonable rates.
Community - We aren't some faceless utility around here. We count most of our users as personal friends. We have roots here, we grew up here. We're friendly!

BBS (Bulletin Board System) The Third Wave BBS offers many features that just aren't available from most Internet providers. First and formost is the sense of community you feel when you logon here. Most of the Internet is just far too impersonal for most folks. Not interested in that sort of thing? Want to go it alone? No problem, we won't bother you. If you want help with something though, or want to meet other local people to share your online experience with, we're just a click away! Unlimited use of the BBS is included in the price of Internet access. If you don't live in the Sarasota area or for some reason want to stick with another provider, we also offer access just to the BBS.

Email Only Accounts Happy with your current provider but want additional email accounts? Have a non-standard or older computer? We can set that up at rates you won't believe. Yes, there are many "free" email providers on the net now, but they do come with a price. In some cases you have to use special software, in others they make you look at ads all the time, in many cases they tack ads onto all your email! At the rates we charge, we think you'll agree it's worth the price to avoid all that. Our system is also many times faster than those kinds of services.

Gaming Ah, now we get to the heart of the matter! This is really why we started Third Wave and will always be our main focus. We offer full support for all the most popular multiplayer PC Games either through the BBS or with our own Internet servers. Want advice on what games or hardware to buy? We have it. Want to meet local players interested in the same games you are? We have those too. In addition, we are dedicated to being the provider of choice for all Internet gaming in the Sarasota area. While our resources are somewhat limited at the moment, we expect this will change rapidly. Even now we offer access that's superior to most other providers. Web Services We can host your web page here on our servers or can help you place one with others. Need help with designing your page? Advice on what software to use? Want to setup your own server at home or your place of business? We can help with any of that. Much of what we offer is free to our regular customers.

Programming Custom programming services are available for nearly any kind of project. Of course our time is limited, so we can't fill all requests. It's always worth checking though, especially if you have interesting or smaller jobs to be done.

Hardware Yes we sell computer hardware! This aint the average cheap crap, either. If you want a solid machine custom built for any application, give us a call. We also list some fairly standard machines (with pricing) in the hardware pages. In some cases we've even been known to engineer and build prototype and one-of-a-kind harware for special situations.
